Obituary for Clotilde Teles Ganhao
Clotilde Teles-Ganhao, 92, of Ludlow, died peacefully on July 31, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Fernao Joanes, Portugal, she came to Ludlow 23 years ago where she was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and Christ the King Adoration Chapel.  She also loved to crochet and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. Clotilde was the beloved wife of the late Abilio Ganhao, who predeceased her in 1983; a loving mother to Daniel Ganhao and wife Connie, Maria Vale and husband Manuel, Jose Ganhao and wife Ilidia, Luis Ganhao and wife Aida, Jorge Ganhao and wife Elena, the late Maria Eugenia Filipe  and her late husband Luis; a cherished grandmother to Fausto Filipe and wife Maria, Antonio Vale, and wife Helena, Diane Souza and husband David, Sandy Ganhao, Paula Young and husband Phil, Cristina Ganhao, David Ganhao, Luis Pedro Ganhao, Scott Ganhao, Christopher Ganhao, Luisa Casanova, and Manuela Filipe; an adoring great-grandmother of 16; a dear sister to Gonzaga Teles, and the late Izilda Dos Santos and Antonio Teles; as well as many loving extended family, dear friends, and her cherished nieces and nephews Julie, Lucio, Celio, Lina, Lisa, and Mike, whom the family wishes to extend a special thank you to for all of the special love and care that they have shown to her; as well as a special thank you to the Dr.'s, nurses and entire staff at Baystate Medical Center Cardiovascular unit.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 8:30am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.  Visiting hours are on Friday from 4-7pm. Â
