Obituary for Constance E. P. Connery
Constance P. (Podoski) Connery, 68, of Ludlow, passed away on February 17, 2010. Born in Ludlow, the daughter of the late John and Jane (Galas) Podoski, she was a lifelong resident, a 1959 graduate of Ludlow High School, and attended AIC. She worked for many years as the first receptionist for Friendly Ice Cream Corp. and then at Coldwell Banker Real Estate before her retirement. Constance was the beloved wife of 47 years to Brian Connery; a loving mother to Bethany Connery Hanna, of Austin, TX, Leslie Connery, of Brookline and the late Brian Jr.; a dear sister to Edward, of Wilbraham, Robert, of Wells Beach , ME, and William of Lake Charles, FL; a cherished grandmother to “her favorite” Connor I. Hanna; and also leaves many other loving family members and dear friends. At the family’s request, all funeral services will be held privately with Ludlow Funeral Home who has been entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial service may be announced at a later date.
