Custer Jay Axiotis (CJ), 68, took his final lap on February 16, 2022. Born in Springfield, MA, son to the late Peter and Barbara Axiotis, CJ worked at Fairview Auto Salvage and Pafumi's Auto Sales as a mechanic. CJ loved boating, going to the casinos and traveling wherever the road led him. CJ was an avid racing fan who raced at Riverside Speedway for 10 years where he won Figure 8 and Street Stock Divisions. CJ is survived by his son, Cody Jay Axiotis Carabine who he loved beyond measure, his "little women" Lisa Carabine, his brothers Pantelus (Butch) Axiotis and wife Georgea, Ariko (Rick) Axiotis and wife Maria Alice, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East Street Ludlow, Ma, with masks required for all attending his wake. His burial will be held privately by his family.
