Obituary for Daniel Motta
Daniel Motta, 77, of Ludlow was called home to God on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Born and raised in Fall River, MA. he was the son of the late Nuno and Mary (Medeiros) DeMotta and a graduate of Diamond Vocational School. Daniel was the owner of Motta Pools and Aquarius Pools and was a past communicant of St. Thomas Church in West Springfield. He was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club and a beloved sponsor of the Silver Knights Drum and Bugle Corp. Daniels family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Earl, the nurses and the medical staff on 6B of Baystate Medical Center and the Baystate Medical Surgical ICU Team. He leaves his loving wife of 28 years, Annelee (Faricelli) Motta of Ludlow; cherished children Sandra Olsen and her husband Lee of Wilbraham, Richard Motta and his wife Jeannette of Bondsville and Michael Motta of Ludlow; caring grandfather to Antone Motta and his wife Amanda of Warren and a dear brother to Gloria Monzon of California and Carol DeMotta of Springfield. Sadly Daniel was predeceased by his brother Robert DeMotta. A memorial mass celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, February 7th, 2013 at 9:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish, 181 Hubbard Street, Ludlow. There are no calling hours and Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.Â
