Obituary for Darlene M. Almeida
Darlene M. Almeida, 59, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2019. Born in Ludlow, she was the daughter of the late Carlos “Honey” Almeida and Theresa (Beauregard) Almeida Veilleux. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish and worked for many years at Sunshine Village. Darlene leaves her siblings; David Beauregard and his wife Maureen, of Ludlow, William, of Ludlow, Lisa, of Virginia, Marc and his wife Wendy Veilleux, and Ginette Veilleux; her aunts; Pauline Beauregard, and LuAnn Staniszewski and her husband Joe; her step-father Gilles Veilleux, of Ludlow, many friends of Sunshine Village, whom she loved dearly; and her staff at Servicenet, who took good care of her. Funeral services for Darlene will be held on Friday, August 30th at 10:30am from the Ludlow Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth’s Parish at 11. Burial to follow in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday morning from 9-10:30 A.M.
