Obituary for David A. Forslund
David Allen Forslund, 54, of Windsor, CT, beloved Life Partner of Ray Link for 37 years, died suddenly Friday, May 28, 2010, at home with Ray by his side. Our dear Dave passed away only hours after Bernice, his much-loved mother died peacefully at her home in Ludlow, MA. As Ray and Dave shared a partnership of almost four decades, the fruits of this partnership have brought tremendous happiness and joyous memories to a multitude. Dave had retired after a 20 year professional career with Trans World Airlines. Besides his life partner, Ray; Dave leaves his brother Stephen Forslund and his wife Barbara of Sandwich, MA; his sister Barbara Moutinho and her husband Mark of Ludlow, MA; and nieces Laura and Leah. Dave’s love also extended to his K-9 Sidekick Eddie. He was predeceased by a brother Raymond in 1979. Dave’s family will receive friends Friday, June 4, from 6-8 pm at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor and Saturday June 5, from 11 am prior to a funeral service at 11:30 am in the Chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home. Rev. Rev. Maurice Barry will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Dave Forsland spent so many of his waking hours reaching out to countless friends and others in need at anytime, anywhere and gave all of himself toward their benefit.
