He was active in the Shriners for many years, and along with his father, he sponsored more than 50 children for operations and advanced medical care at the Shriners Hospital for Children. An active and engaged citizen of Ludlow, he served more than 30 years on the Sewer Commission and the Planning Board. He was also a precinct member for the Town and served as Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee. David was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church in Wilbraham.
David leaves his beloved wife of 56 years, Ann LeDuc Irvine. His family will receive friends at Ludlow Funeral Home at 432 East Street in Ludlow on Monday, August 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
