Obituary for David Dymon
David J. Dymon, 62, of Ludlow passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday January 7, 2020. Born in Springfield he was the son of the late Thaddeus and Phyllis (Ziemba) Dymon and was a 1975 graduate of Ludlow High School, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. David worked for the F.A.A. for over 36 years as a Ground Power Specialist, he had a passion for woodworking and making custom birdhouses for friends and enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and friends and his summers in Westerly RI. He was the beloved husband of Laurie (Jodoin) Dymon of Ludlow; loving father to Michael and his wife Katherine of Chicopee and a devoted grandfather to Jack David. David also leaves his sister Judy Pyers and husband David, brothers-in- law Raymond Jodoin, Chris Jodoin and wife Lueen, sister-in -law Cynthia Palmer and her husband Chris; nieces and nephews Allyson and Jordan Pyers, Luke Jodoin, Dr. James Starr, Chris Starr and Stefan and Carlina Marinello; his aunts Patricia and Barbara Ziemba and his uncle Edward Dymon as well as many cousins and friends especially Joe and Maryann Leonczyk. Visiting hours for David will be on Wednesday January 15th from 4:00-7:00pm at the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service beginning and concluding the visitation at 7:00pm. Burial with Military Honors will be Thursday at 10:00am directly at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, everyone is asked to please assemble at the cemetery for 9:45am. It was the request of David’s family that IN LIEU of flowers please make donations in his memory to: Shriners Hospital for Children, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, ASPCA or the Veterans Association for Dogs.
