Obituary for David J. Dorval
Mr. David Dorval 71 years of age, born in Springfield MA, passed away peacefully on May 18 at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. David spent most of his years residing in Sixteen Acres section of Springfield with his late wife Sandra Dorval and their three children. David Dorval was a Marine Corp Vietnam era Vet. He graduated from American International College and worked many years up until his retirement for the Social Security Administration.
David is survived by his children and their families: Jason Dorval and wife Amy Dorval of Whately and their children Connor, Elise, Cameron & Courtney; Sean Dorval and his wife Kristen Yarber of Jamestown NY; Aimee Patalano and her husband Anthony Patalano of Ludlow and their children Ashley White, Alexa Palazzi, AJ, and Austin.Â
David is also survived by his sisters: Kathleen Vannini of Niantic CT, Linda Ellis of Springfield, Susan Rousseau of Springfield, and his brother Christopher Dorval of Belchertown.
Visiting hours for David will be held on Thursday, May 22nd from 5-8pm. Friends and family may also gather for committal services with Military Honors on Friday May 23rd at 2:00pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
