Obituary for David Nahorniak

David Nahorniak, 63, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024.  David was the son of the late Joseph and Yolanda Nahorniak and worked for many years for the City of Springfield from where he retired. In his spare time, David enjoyed fishing and had a passion for animals.  David leaves his longtime partner Kathleen Galanis and her family; a sister Judy Bergdoll, and 4 nephews Steven Michael Burris, Joseph Nahorniak, Michael Joseph Bergdoll, and Joseph Adam Bergdoll  Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his brothers Steven Norman Nahorniak and Joseph Patrick Nahorniak.

Funeral services for David will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024.  Visiting hours will be held from 10:30-12:00pm at Ludlow Funeral Home concluding with a funeral home chapel service at 12:00pm followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.  Donations may be made in David’s memory to TJ O’Connor Animal Shelter or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
