Obituary for Denise M. (Charbonneau) Stuart
Denise M. (Charbonneau) Stuart, 61, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2019. Born in Palmer, daughter of the late and John and Claire (Sorel) Charbonneau, she lived most of her life in Ludlow where she was a 1976 graduate of Ludlow High School and faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish. Denise worked for many years at TD Bank, formerly SIS Bank, starting off as a bank teller and later retired as a branch manager in 2007. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching 80’s movies, volunteering at St. Joan of Arc School, and especially spending time with her family and friends. Denise was the loving mother to Kristine A. Lefebvre and husband Matthew of Chicopee; a cherished grandmother to Allison H. Croteau and husband Casey, Kaitlyn M. Lefebvre, and Lauren E. Lefebvre, all of Chicopee; the beloved sister of Janine Dunlea and husband Peter, and Dana, Ronald and wife Wendy, Yvette, and Lisa Charbonneau; and also leaves many living nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Besides her parents, Denise was sadly predeceased by her niece Heidi J. Weit and her nephew Robert J. Person. Visiting hours for Denise are on Friday from 4:00-7:00pm at Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral services are on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:00pm in St. Elizabeth Parish. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in St. Aloysius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Denise’s memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org) or the Cancer Charity of One’s Choice.
