Obituary for Dennis Gelinas
Dennis A. Gelinas, 68, of Ludlow died suddenly on Tuesday November 12, 2019. Born in Springfield, he was the son of Shirley (Gervais) Gelinas and the late Raymond Gelinas . Dennis’s passion was hunting, golfing and fishing. He spent most of his life doing both with his beloved father-Raymond and his son Brett. He loved his Boston Sports teams, but mostly when they would win. His real and true love in life was to bring love and joy to his family. He continued to bring a positive attitude even during his battle with Multiple Myeloma, His desire was for all his family to celebrate his life when it ended and not to mourn him. He felt love each and every day, and gave back his love to everyone in multiple ways. He leaves his wife of 23 years, Deborah Ann Gelinas (Picariello) and 6 beautiful children, Kara Gelinas, Tricia Gelinas, Brett Gelinas, Brendon Lapointe, Danielle Gelinas, and Theresa Ann Gelinas as well as many extended family members and friends. Funeral services for Dennis will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are from 10:00am-12:00pm with a Chapel Service beginning at noon with Monsignor Homer Gosselin presiding. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers it was the wish of Dennis’s Family that donations be made in his memory to Dana Farber for Multiple Myeloma @ dana-farber.org
