Obituary for Domingos Dias
Domingos Dias, 77, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 19, 2021. Born in Morgade, Portugal to the late Agostinho and Maria (Teixeira) Dias, he served in the Portuguese Army as a Commando in Angola. After emigrating to the United States, he lived in Ludlow for 46 years. Domingos worked for over 30 years at Bruschi Brothers Construction in Ludlow and was a proud member of the Gremio Lusitano Club and a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. He enjoyed hunting and you could always find him working on home improvement projects, playing cards with his friends and spending time with his family. He leaves his beloved wife Maria Adelaide (Goncalves) Dias of Ludlow; loving children Antonio Dias and his wife Judite and Linda Martins and her husband Eugene; adored grandchildren Nicole Dias, Sydney Dias, Dominic Martins and Addison Martins; dear siblings Ana Goncalves (Tony), Maria Ribeiro (Armando), and Theresa Stellato (Charlie) as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sadly Domingos was predeceased by his grandchildren Jaxson and Cameron Martins, his sister Isabel Rodrigues and his brothers Jose Dias and Agostinho Dias. Funeral services for Domingos will be held on Monday, January 25th. A walk through, public visitation at the funeral home will take place between 9:15-10:30am, adhering to face coverings, social distancing and non-contact. His Funeral Liturgy and Burial will be held privately by his family.
