Obituary for Donald J. Lorenz
Donald J. Lorenz, 36, was called Safely Home on June 5, 2011. Born in Holyoke, he lived most of his life in Chicopee before recently living in Ludlow and West Springfield. Donald was a avid bowler, bowling with the Friday Night Mixers, as well as an avid Red Sox and Miami Dolphins fan. He also loved to play cards, especially Texas Hold Em’. Donald was predeceased by his beloved mother Linda (Cote) Lorenz in 2005. He leaves his loving parents, Harry and Debra Lorenz, of Ludlow; brothers Nicholas LaBare, of Wilbraham and Mitchell Garner, of Ludlow; sister Sandra Lorenz, of South Hadley; a nephew Tyler Lapponese, of Indian Orchard; and will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and the staff at Baraco and Nonotuck. Visiting hours for Donald will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 6-8pm at Ludlow Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately by the family in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
