Obituary for Doreen (Libby) Provost
Doreen (Libby) Provost, 62, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline (Bousquet) Libby. Before recently moving to Ludlow, she was a longtime resident of the Sixteen Acres section of Springfield and worked for many years as a floral designer, most recently at Carey’s Flowers in South Hadley. Doreen leaves her beloved daughters; Janinne Dill and her husband David of Ludlow, Michelle Provost of Westfield and Tina Provost of Daytona, Florida; cherished grandchildren Jason, Anthony, Lyndsay, Nick and Ashley; her greatgrandson Jordan; caring brothers Ronald, Robert, Roger, Roland, Raymond and Rene; her sisters Beverly and Cheryl as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her oldest brother Richard. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday February 10th, 2009 at 10:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Parker St. Springfield, burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family and all arrangements have been entrusted to the Ludlow Funeral Home.
