Obituary for Doris (Dame) Crowther
Doris (Dame) Crowther 79, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Wednesday June 13, 2012. Born in Seekonk, MA to the late Theodore and Blanche (Bourgeois) Dame, she was a longtime Ludlow resident and a faithful communicant of Christ The King Church. Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Crowther in 1993. She leaves her loving children, Deborah Hines and her husband David of The Villages, Fl., Charles Crowther and his wife Cindy of Ludlow and Michael Crowther and his wife Sue of Ludlow; 10 cherished grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren as well as 2 grandsons -in-law and her dear brother Paul Dame of Naples, FL. Sadly Doris was predeceased by her daughter Eileen in 1975, her brother Theodore and her sisters Gloria, Lea and her dear friend Raymond Hoarle. Funeral Services for Doris will be held on Monday June 18, 2012 at 9:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00am in Christ The King Church with burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00pm.
