Obituary for Doris Irene (Nault) Nichols
Doris Irene (Nault) Nichols, 93, of Ludlow passed away on Sunday December 10, 2023. Born in Holyoke she has lived in Ludlow for many years. She was a former member of the Kiwanis Club and a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth's Parish where she belonged to the Red Hatters and volunteered her time for the French Meat Pie project. She was the wife of the late Charles Dustin in 1967 and Edward Nichols in 1998; She leaves her daughters Debra Belisle and Dianne Dustin; step-children David Nichols, Linda Nichols, Robin Nichols, Doreen Nichols and Melonie Nichols; Grandchildren Rebecca, Eugene, Ricky, Shelley, Robert, Charrie and the late Michelle; brothers Francis and William Nault and predeceased by Mary, Rita, Claire and Raymond. She also leaves several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and extended family and friends, also sadly predeceased by her great granddaughter Amanda. Funeral services for Doris will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2023 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday morning from 8:30-10:15am at the Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church at 11:00am followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery in Ludlow. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Doris’ memory to American Cancer Society
