Obituary for Dorothy C. (Prokop) Sajdak
Dorothy C. Sajdak, 76, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2014. Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Casimir and Stella (Link) Prokop, she was a 1954 graduate of the High School of Commerce and 1958 graduate of AIC. Dorothy was a longtime resident of Wilbraham and worked for 55 years at the Joseph Napolitan Associates before retiring. She was also a faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church where she belonged to its Children of Mary Sodality and the Immaculate Conception Seniors; and was also a member of Polish Veterans of Wilbraham Axillary. Dorothy was the beloved wife of 51 years to Bronislaw “Brownie” Sajdak; a loving mother to Richard Sajdak and wife Annmarie, of Wolcott, CT, and Laurie Wojcik and husband Donald, of Ludlow; a devoted grandmother to Alexa N. and Zachary C. Sajdak; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends including her caregivers Lynda Scibelli, Angel Jones, and Pat Clarke, whom the family wishes to thank for the exceptional care that they provided. Funeral services for Dorothy are on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at 8:30am at Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church at 9:30am followed by burial in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam at 11:00am. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4-7pm. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Immaculate Conception Church Memorial and Restoration Fund 25 Parker St. Indian Orchard, Ma. 01151, The ALS Association (www.alsa.org), the National MS Society (www.nationalmssociety.org), or the charity of one‘s choice.
