Obituary for Dorothy (Diminutto) Trigilio
Dorothy (Diminutto) Trigilio, 77, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Born in West Hartford to the late John and Delfina (Carando) Diminutto she has lived in Ludlow since 1998. She worked for many years in the risk management department for Baystate Health Services, was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Ludlow and she also belonged to the Ludlow, Hampden and Wilbraham Quilting and Knitting Clubs. Dorothy leaves her beloved husband of 48 years Paul Trigilio of Ludlow; loving children John-Paul Trigilio of Ludlow, Christopher-Paul Trigilio and his wife Penny of Chicopee and Debra Hawkins of Ludlow; cherished grandmother to Emily, Anthony, Nick, Sydney, Bobby and Miss Emma. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Family and friends are asked to gather for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00am in St. Elizabeth Church in Ludlow followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements. In lieu of flowers it was the wish of Dorothy’s family that donations be made in her memory to: Hospice of the Fisher Home, 1165 North Pleasant St. Amherst, Ma. 01002.
