Obituary for Douglas Walker
Douglas Walker, 53, of Belchertown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Doug was born in Springfield to the late Rodney and Elizabeth (Marlow) Walker. He was an auto mechanic at Pleasant Street Auto and was also an avid motorcycle rider. He also loved his dogs and enjoyed his trips to the beach; but his greatest joy in life was being a father and spending time with his daughter Hannah. Besides his beloved daughter, Doug leaves Hannah’s mother Martha Scott, his siblings Marc Alessandroni, Keith Alessandroni, Gina Wasilefsky, and Colette Walker; his partner Terri; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many friends. Celebration of Life services for Doug will be held privately by his family at a later date at which time he will be interred with his loving parents at Island Pond Cemetery.
