Obituary for Earl N. Taylor Jr.
Earl Taylor Jr. 76, of Chicopee, was called back into God’s care on Thursday,  March 8, 2007. He was Born in Westfield, and had lived there most of his life before moving to Chicopee 8 years ago He was a graduate of Westfield State College, a member of the VFW  Westfield Post 124 and a proud United States Army Veteran serving his country honorably. Earl was an elementary school teacher at the Henry Barnard School in Enfield, Connecticut for over 20 years before his retirement in 1991. He leaves his beloved wife of 14 years Maria (Jappel) Taylor of Chicopee; loving sons and daughters Mark Taylor and his wife Paloma, Stephen Taylor and his wife Elizabeth , George Taylor, Susan Macki and her husband Michael, Jacqueline Lomazzo and her husband Richard; stepsons and stepdaughters, Thomas Widelo, Jane Harper and her husband Phillip, Maria Del Hagen and her husband Gerry, Susan Jarrett and her husband David and Christine Widelo; cherished grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of 7. Earl was predeceased by his first wife Florence Taylor in 1991. Funeral services with full Military Honors will be held Monday morning March 12, 2007 at 9:30am from the Ludlow Funeral Home, with a chapel service beginning at 10:00am, burial to follow in Island Pond Cemetery.
