Obituary for Edmund J. Czyzewski
Edmund J. Czyzewski, 78, of Palmer passed away Saturday evening at Baystate Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Palmer to the late Edmund and Mary (Topor) Czyzewski he was a lifelong resident, graduate of Palmer High School and faithful communicant of Divine Mercy Parish. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, the outdoors, history and constructing model train sets. But most importantly, Edmund was a devoted husband for 52 years, an amazing father and loving grandfather whose top priority was spending time with his family. He leaves his beloved wife of 52 years Danuta (Syper) Czyzewski of Palmer; cherished children Joseph Czyzewski and wife Anca, Richard Czyzewski, Paul Czyzewski and wife Alexis and Cindy Goncalves and her husband Felipe; 9 adored grandchildren. Funeral services for Edmund will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from the Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East Street, at 9:00am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated at 10:00am in Divine Mercy Parish in Palmer, with burial to follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday evening at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00pm and in lieu of flowers please make donations in Edmunds’ memory to Divine Mercy Church.
