Obituary for Edward Joseph Korzec
Edward Korzec, 58, of Ludlow was called home to God on Thursday August 5th, 2010. Born in Ludlow, he was the son of Stacia (Surowiec) Korzec and the late Joseph Korzec. Edward was a life long Ludlow resident and a1970 graduate of Ludlow High School. He worked for many years as a supervisor with the United States Postal Service, was a communicant of Christ the King Church and belonged to the Polish American Citizens Club in Ludlow and the Pulaski Club in Indian Orchard. He leaves his beloved mother Stacia Korzec of Ludlow; loving brother Thomas Korzec and his wife Pam of Springfield; caring nephews Benjamin, Kenneth, Damion and a niece Donna; cherished aunts Stella Trespacz and Bertha Kazan. Edward was predeceased by his brother Kenneth in 1978. Funeral services for Edward will be held on Tuesday August 10th, 2010 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated in Christ The King Church at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00-8:00pm and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edwards name to: the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454 Alexandria, VA, 22312 or the charity of ones choice.
