Obituary for Elaine (Kerrico) Shanley
Elaine T. Shanley, 90, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Jewish Nursing Center in Longmeadow. Born in Springfield to the late John and Irene (Otis) Kerrico, she worked at Ren-Electronics and then Milton Bradley where she retired in 1998. Elaine loved roller skating, finishing second in the national competition, she also enjoyed ballroom dancing, bingo and the Boston Red Sox. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis A. Shanley Jr. who sadly passed away in 1978 and also predeceased by her companion of 33 years Thomas E. Travis Jr. in 2011. Elaine leaves her loving son Robert J. Shanley Sr. and his wife Denise of Ludlow; cherished grandsons Robert J. Shanley Jr. (Nikki) and Joseph F. Shanley (Katie); adored great grandchildren Jackson, Grayson, Jade and Crew. All services for Elaine were held privately by her family.
