Eleanor “Ellie” Mary Anna (Froebel) Marti, 89, passed peacefully on Thursday November 27, 2025 Thanksgiving Day, with her loving family and friends by her side. Born in Springfield, MA. to the late Herman and Martha Froebel, she graduated from Commerce High School, STCC and HCC. Ellie enjoyed serving others. She had many friends and was always on the go. Most of all she enjoyed reading, writing and poetry but her greatest legacy was raising her children and grandchildren and sharing the message of salvation with the sinners prayer. She leaves her caring Sons; John, Nick and Rob as well as her sister Miriam Pirro. Sadly Ellie was predeceased by her daughter Karen Marti USAF in 1980 and her brothers Frederick and Heinz Froebel. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Ellie’s memory to: Bethany Assembly of God, 580 Main Street, Agawam, MA. 01001 for the Short Term Mission Program.
