Obituary for Elmer Ranck
Elmer Ranck, 87, formerly of Ludlow, died Friday, November 10, 2006 at the home of his son in California. Born in Riverton Iowa, he lived most of his life in Ludlow before moving to California. He retired from the former Uniroyal Company of Chicopee, and was active for many years at the Ludlow Senior Center, and was a member of the Brigham Lodge of Mason, and worshiped at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Ludlow. He proudly served his country during WWII. Elmer was predeceased by his first wife Olivia (Gonsalves) Ranck in 1991, and his second wife Alyce (Farnsworth) Ranck, in 1997. He leaves 2 sons; Dennis Ranck and his wife Dean of Tehachapi Ca., and Dale Ranck and his wife Patricia of Apopka Fl, 4 grandchildren; Jennifer Athey, Matthew , Sherry , and Dennis Ranck. 2 great grandchildren; Damion Stoen and Joshua Ranck. Funeral services were private, and Ludlow Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
