Obituary for Elzear F. Duquette
Elzear F. Duquette, 86, of Ludlow was called home on June 20, 2020. Born in Ludlow to the late Arthur Elzear and Lucy (LeBlue) Duquette, he was a lifelong resident where he graduated from Ludlow High School and was a faithful communicant of St Elizabeth’s Parish. Elzear proudly served in the United States Navy and formerly worked for Eastern Container and more recently as a Building Supervisor for Springfield College. Elzear was the beloved brother of Richard Duquette and wife Paulette, of West Springfield, Claire DeBlois, of Springfield, and the late Rita Wigglesworth, Arthur, George, William, and Raymond Duquette, Alice Dennis, and Jeanne Fontaine; and also leaves many loving nieces, and nephews, to whom he was the best Uncle and Friend they could have asked for, as well as many loving extended family members and dear friends. Due to ongoing restrictions, funeral services for Elzear will be held privately with Ludlow Funeral Home entrusted with his care.
