Obituary for Emilia Dos Santos Miranda
Emilia Dos Santos Miranda passed away peacefully at her home on October 15, 2025. She was born in Redondelo, Portugal to the late Maria and Jose Joaquim. They moved to NY in the U.S. in 1968 where she worked at a tool factory. She met the love of her life Antonio Miranda, together they moved to and resided in Ludlow until her death. Emilia had a great love for gardening and crocheting, but her greatest love of all was taking care of her family. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio in 2022. Also her sister Helen in 2019 and brother-in-law Feliz in 2018. She leaves behind her loving twin daughters, Christine Miranda and her partner John of Ludlow and Grace Snyder and her husband Erik of Wilbraham. She also leaves her grandpup and partner in crime, Cody as well as many nieces, nephews in Ludlow and New York. Funeral services for Emilia will be held on Tuesday October 21st from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are from 9:00-10:15am with a Liturgy of Cristian Mass celebrated at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Reservoir Cemetery.
