Obituary for Emily Q. Sosa
Emily Q. Sosa, 57, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2010 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bronx, NY, she has lived in Springfield since 1985 where she was a faithful servant of Jehovah for over 20 years and was also a registered nurse at Willimansett West N.H. and Rehab Center in Chicopee. Emily was the beloved wife for over 40 years to Carlos Sosa; a loving mother to Carlos Sosa Jr., of Granby, Antonio Sosa, of Ludlow, Jose Sosa, of Springfield, Jo-Anna Rutherford, of Springfield, and Emily Green, also of Springfield; a devoted grandmother to Roman, Alaina, Shaunpaul, Michael, Savannah, Briana, Jordan, Logan, twin grandsons due in January; and her grand-doggers Jasmine and Rocky; a cherished great-grandmother to Elijah; a beloved daughter to Juana Perez and the late Lorenzo Quinones; a dear sister to Wilfredo Medina, Lorenzo Quinones, Magda Rios, Lorraine Velez, and Myrna Quinones; and also leaves many extended family members and dear friends.
