Obituary for Eric Wolcheck
Eric Jason Wolcheck, 38, of Chicopee died unexpectedly on Monday, December 17, 2012. Born in Springfield he was the son of Nicholas and Jane (Ciborowski) Wolcheck. Eric grew up in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. He graduated from Ludlow High School in 1994 and completed his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield University and worked at Medplast in Chicopee. Eric was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, his family was everything to him and he was especially proud to be an uncle to his nephews Shaun and Owen and cherished the time spent with them. Eric will long be remembered for his infectious smile. He leaves his loving parents Nicholas Wolcheck of North Carolina and Jane Wolcheck and her companion David Opalinski of Indian Orchard; his caring sister Karen Ferreira and her husband Victor of Indian Orchard; and his cherished nephews Shaun and Owen Ferreira as well as several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends throughout the community. Visiting hours for Eric will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East St. Ludlow, MA. His funeral services will be held privately by his family.
