Eudosia (Gesteira) Dos Santos, 90, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Sunday April 21, 2013. Born in Vilar Dos Santos Orense, Spain she lived in Portugal for many years before returning to Ludlow in 2002. Eudosia enjoyed knitting and the time spent with her cherished family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Joaquim Dos Santos who predeceased her in 2008. She leaves her loving daughter Maria J. Nogueira and her husband Joe of Ludlow; caring grandmother to Michelle Morais and husband Michael of Ludlow and Brian Nogueira his Fiancee Jennifer Gagne and her son Anthony; great-grandmother to Riley and Avery Morais; sister to Albina Amaral and her husband Reinaldo of Hartford and Elvira da Costa of South Windsor as well as the late Jose, Josefa, Rosa and Maria Rosa; she also leaves her goddaughter Manuela Inacio her devoted caregiver Odette Tomas and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services for Eudosia will be held on Thursday April 25th, 2013 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church at 10:00am with burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00pm.
