Obituary for Eugenio Gomes
Eugenio Gomes, 28, of Ludlow, was called back into God’s care on Sunday, June 18, 2006.  Born in Springfield, he lived most of his life in Ludlow. He worked for Freitas Construction Co, and was a member of the Labor Union Local #596 of Holyoke.  He leaves his loving parents, Luis and Maria F. Gomes of Ludlow, a brother Paulo Gomes, and his companion Maria Dalazario of Ludlow and his maternal grandmother Maria Martins and paternal grandfather Joaquim Gomes, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, Lidia Gomes and Joaquim Martins.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 10:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.  Visiting hours are Tuesday evening from 4-7 pm and memorial contributions may be made in Eugenio’s memory to Our Lady of Fatima Parish Center Fund, Winsor St. Ludlow, Ma 01056.
