Obituary for Eurico Jorge
Eurico Jorge, 81, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Saturday November 15, 2014 surrounded by his caring family. Born in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Portugal to the late Antonio and Luisa (de Andrade) Jorge, he has lived in Ludlow since 1967. Eurico was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and a former member of the Gremio Lusitano Club he also served honorably in the Portuguese Army. He leaves his beloved wife of 56 years, Dulce Freitas of Ludlow; loving children Fernando Jorge and his wife Maria Manuela of Ludlow, Antonio Jorge and his wife Deborah of Belchertown and Judy Leonard and her husband Brian of Ludlow; cherished grandchildren Alexander Jorge, Andrea Jorge, Nicholas Jorge, Jonathan Jorge and Joseph Leonard; adored great-grandson Mikhail; dear sisters Ana Leal, Georgina Oliveira and Fernanda Rodrigues. Sadly Eurico was predeceased by his brothers, Alexandre and Amandio.
Funeral services for Eurico will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Parish followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm
