Obituary for Evelyn A. Siwicki
Evelyn A. (Siarkowicz) Siwicki, 85, of Indian Orchard, entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Stephen and Jadwiga (Kukla) Siarkowicz, she was employed for 24 years at the former Rexall Co. of Ludlow before retiring. Evelyn enjoyed bingo, shopping with her sister, and being an avid Rex Sox fan. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and belonged to its St. Ann‘s Sodality, as well as a member of the Polish American Veteran Women‘s Auxiliary of Wilbraham. Evelyn was the beloved wife of 65 years to Edward F. Siwicki; a loving mother to Edward “Bob” Siwicki, and wife Betty of Wilbraham, Diane Thompson of Palmer, and Regina Frydryk and husband Dan of Feeding Hills; dear sister to Jennie Stejna of I. O., Sophie Kareta of Wilbraham, and the late Helen Panek; cherished grandmother to Lisa (Brad) Guertin, Michelle (Jim) Germain, Brian (Keri) Siwicki, Laura Ann (Brian) Pumiglia, Jeffery Pumiglia; and Brenda Thompson; and great grandmother of 6. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, Sept, 29th, at 10 AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Immaculate Conception Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8 P.M
