Obituary for Felix E. Marelli
Felix E. Marelli, 84, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Friday May 11, 2007. Born in Ludlow, he was the son of Lino and Josephine (Riccardi) Marelli. A lifelong Ludlow resident, he graduated from Ludlow High School in 1940, he was a faithful communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, a former member of the Unity Athletic Club and was a United States Navy Veteran serving his country honorably during WWII. He leaves his beloved wife of 64 years Ida (Piangerelli) Marelli of Ludlow; loving daughter Linda Gagnon and her husband Harvey of Phippsburg, ME; cherished grandchildren Glenn Murphy of Belchertown and David Murphy of South Hadley, and great grandson Ethan Murphy; caring niece Maureen McCarthy and her husband Charles. Felix was predeceased by his brothers Morrison and Joseph Marelli as well as his sisters Stella Cecchi, Lillian Price and Aurelia Chouinard. Funeral services for Felix will be held Tuesday morning May 15, 2007 at 9:00AM from Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Mary of the Assumption  Church followed by burial with Full Military Honors in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 4-7PM.
