Obituary for Frank J. Guerra
Frank J. Guerra, 90, of Ludlow, died peacefully on August 12, 2013. Born in Portugal, He lived in New York for most of his life before moving to Ludlow after his retirement. He worked for over 45 years at Rezina Machinery in Brooklyn, NY and was an avid sports fan; but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Frank was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Grego) Guerra, who predeceased him in 1997; a loving father to Jacqueline Queiroga and husband Joseph, of Ludlow, Sophia L’Hommedieu and husband Gregory, of Cutchogue, and Francine Guerra, of Ludlow; a cherished grandfather of Pamela Cavanaugh, Joseph Queiroga, Christopher and Peter L’Hommedieu, Carrie Cagney, Rachelle Loiselle, and Katherine and Lilly Menches; an adoring great-grandfather of 8; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends.  Funeral services are on Thursday, August 15, 2013. Chapel services in Ludlow Funeral Home will begin at 11:00am followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 5-8pm.
