Fred leaves his beloved wife of 50 years Julie (Ferreira) Stelzer of Ludlow; loving children Cheryl Pellegrini of Ludlow and Gene Stelzer and his wife Leemarie of Chicopee; cherished grandchildren Nick Pellegrini, Benjamin Pellegrini, Lyle Stelzer, Kristopher Stelzer and Sarah Mutch, mother of his first great grandchild; his brother Carl (Rip) Stelzer and his wife Frances of Long Island, sister Madeline Haas of Long Island, brother-in-law Manuel Ferreira and his wife Doris of South Carolina and his brother-in-law and best friend Attilio Di Cassio and his wife Elsie of South Dennis, MA.
