Obituary for Gale (Lemanski) Benoit
Gale Lemanski Benoit, born February 21, 1947 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 28, 2013. Â She leaves her husband of 36 years, Richard Benoit, two sons, John Benoit, Sr. of Chicopee and Michael Benoit of Lewiston, PA, a stepson, Scott Benoit of San Francisco, two grandchildren, John, Jr. and Brittany Benoit, as well as, a sister, Jill M. Duda from FL. Â She also leaves her aunts Lois Morais and Irene Cellillie, stepbrothers, a stepsister, cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Gale was a graduate of Cathedral High School and went on to become an RN, graduating from Henry Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA. Â She worked at several area hospitals and nursing homes, most notably, as a supervisor for Ludlow Hospital. Â She was a member of The Word of Grace Church in Westfield, MA and will be fondly missed by all her loved ones.
It is the request of Gale's family that all funeral services be held privately at Ludlow Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley.Â
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gale's memory to the charity of one's choice.
