Obituary for Gary “Bear” Quigley
Gary R. “Bear” Quigley, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2018. Born in Ludlow, Gary was the son of the late Vernita J. (Reynolds) Quigley and a 1976 graduate of Ludlow High School. He was an avid motorcycle rider and although he had no specific affiliation with an association, he was friends to everyone and liked by all motorcycle organizations. He was also an elder member of the Penobscot Indian Tribe in Penobscot ME. Bear leaves his sister Deana L. Drinkwine and husband Bobby, of Ludlow, and their family Samantha and Brandi Drinkwine; brother Walter Quigley, of Spring Hill, FL, sister-in-law Donna Quigley, of Palmer, and their family Melissa Quigley, Cassidy, Caitlyn, and the late Walter, Jr.; his uncle Gary Reynolds, of FL, and his family Dean and Debbie; as well as many loving extended family members and friends throughout the country including Jim “Shaggy” Maciag. Visiting hours for Bear will be held on Friday, August 24th from 4:00-7:00 in Ludlow Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately by the family.
