Obituary for Gary Stone Mariani
Gary Stone Mariani, 66, longtime area resident, died peacefully on Sunday October 13, 2019, surrounded by his family. Born in Ludlow on March 24, 1953, to the late Louis and Sheila (Stone) Mariani, he was raised in Ludlow and graduated from Ludlow High School. He had owned his own business, Palmer Pools and Patio, and later worked both construction and masonry. Gary enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends. He leaves his dear mother of Pocasset Ma, his siblings; Joseph “Jody” and Christine Mariani of Westfield, Pamela and Charles Coombs IV of Sandwich and Kimber Leivi, as well as his extended family; Brian C. McDonnell, Sean P. McDonnell and Shannon A. Metterville. In keeping with Gary’s wishes, all services will be held privately.
