Obituary for George Adams Jr.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of George H. Adams, Jr. (Buddy) who passed peacefully at home on November 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Buddy was a loving husband to his wife Betty Millett Adams for over 63 years. They have 2 daughters, Cynthia Adams and Janice Hoffman; 3 grandsons, Randy Hoffman and his wife Andrea, Brian Hoffman and his wife Amanda and Jason Hoffman and his fiancé Caitlyn Van Aller. Buddy also had 3 great grandchildren which he adored - Christopher, Dominick and Hailey Hoffman. George raised his family primarily in Ludlow while working multiple jobs and making a lot of time for his family. The family took multiple camping trips while exploring many other areas and having great vacations. After retiring, George and Betty moved to Cape Cod and spent the winter in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. Here they made many friends and had a great amount of fun. Buddy loved fishing, model A’s and other antique cars. He would wake up and say “what are we going to do today” as he always liked to keep moving. His motto was one day of work and one day of fun. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and his family. They will miss his great sense of humor, compassion and zest for life. A memorial tribute will be held in his honor on Friday, November 19 at the Villa Rose Restaurant, Center Street, Ludlow from 4:00-7:00 for family and friends. Burial with Military Honors will be held privately by his family.
