Obituary for George Boudreau
George Boudreau, 88, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Friday, June 28, 2019. Born, raised and educated in Ludlow George was a 1949 graduate of Ludlow High School, a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hunting and fishing. George served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Morton) Boudreau who sadly predeceased him in 2012. He leaves his loving children; Thomas Boudreau and wife Laureen of Belchertown, Michael Boudreau and girlfriend Diane of Ludlow and Susan James and husband David of Ludlow; adored grandchildren Jeremy James (Bonnie), Chrissy James (Andy), Ashely Boudreau, Kevin Boudreau, Brian Boudreau and Steven Boudreau; cherished great-grandfather to Josephine James, Celine Jacobs and Travis James. Sadly George was also predeceased by his brother Robert Boudreau. Funeral services for George will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Wednesday morning from 9:00am-11:00am will a Chapel service at the Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am will Father Bolton officiating. Burial will follow in Island Pond Cemetery with Naval Military Honors. At the request of the family in lieu of flowers please make donations in George’s memory to the charity of one's choice.
