Obituary for George R. Guay
George R. Guay 1928-2006  George R. Guay, 77, of Ludlow, was called back into God’s care, on Sunday, October 1, 2006.   Born in Indian Orchard, he lived in Ludlow most of his life and worked as a carpenter for the Baystate Medical Center, until his retirement in 1991.  His beloved wife Jeanne (Boucher) Guay predeceased him in 1998. George leaves 2 daughters, Paulette St. Germain of Ludlow and Carol Capaccio and her husband Frank of Springfield; as well as a sister Rita Haluch of Belchertown; 4 grandchildren ; David St. Germain and his wife Jennifer and Susan St. Germain , and Sara and Lisa Capaccio, and a great grandson Jacob St. Germain.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at the Ludlow Funeral Home at 11:30 AM with Rev. Homer Gosselin officiating followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.  Visiting hours are Tuesday morning only from 10:30 – 11:30 AM and in lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made to St. John the Baptist Pastoral Center Fund, 181 Hubbard St. Ludlow, MA. 01056.                                                                                          Â
