Obituary for Geraldine (Harrison) Santos
Geraldine Mona (Harrison) Santos, 89, peacefully passed with her family by her side. She was born in Chicopee on January 15, 1930 to the late George and Mary Harrison. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish. She worked for many years as a sales associate for Steigers. She enjoyed life with family and friends always making time for those in need. She found pleasure in the times she traveled with her husband. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, crafting and card playing. She was the loving wife of 67 years to Joseph C. Santos, devoted mother to Cynthia Comeau and her husband Richard of East Longmeadow, Michael Santos and his wife Marie of Wilbraham. She was the beloved grandmother to David Comeau (Stacy), Aaron Comeau (Annie), Lauren Szlosek (Philip), and Katelyn Rosienski (Evan), and devoted great grandmother to Abbie and Liza. Funeral services for Geraldine will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Wednesday morning from 8:15-10:15am with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501, St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
