Obituary for Gladys (Ryba) Soltys
Gladys (Ryba) Soltys, 89, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21st, 2010. Born in Ludlow she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Walek) Ryba. Gladys was a life long Ludlow resident and faithful communicant of Christ the King Church. She was the loving wife of the late Albert Soltys, who predeceased her in 1983 and the mother of the late Ronald Soltys. Gladys leaves her cherished sister Jean Krawiec and brother Edward Ryba both of Ludlow; 1 granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26th, 2010 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Christ the King Church at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours for Gladys are Monday morning only from 8:00am-9:15am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Christ the King Church Fund, 15 Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA. 01056.
