Obituary for Glen A. Zeo
Glen A. Zeo, 56, of Springfield, was called to Heaven on May 2, 2009. Born in Springfield, son of the late Al and Violette (Fournier) Zeo, he attended Springfield Technical High School, graduated from high school in Santa Barbara, CA and was a 1973 graduate of STCC where he also served on the student senate as parliamentarian. He enjoyed his work as a supervisor at Kay-Bee Toy and Hobby Shop in the late 70’s and as an engraver in the 80’s & 90’s. Glen was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in E. Springfield and enjoyed turkey shoots at Oregon Sportmen’s club among other area clubs. He had a great passion for cooking and wine, and loved music and most recently enjoyed the sounds of Peter Newland. He also loved fishing, especially at Lake Ontario in NY with Cpt. Neal, and spent many years participating in the semi-annual camping trip with his life-long friends. Glen was the father of Amy (Zeo) Pereira, her husband John Pereira III and their daughter Jamie Lynn, of Enfield, CT; brother to Jon Zeo and his wife Linda, of Wilbraham, and the late James Zeo; friend to Barbara Lake; uncle to his favorite niece Gianna Zeo and nephew Christopher Zeo and his wife Debbie, of FL; and also leaves his cat Jacob and many dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 5-8pm at Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
