Obituary for Glenn S. LaRace, Jr.
Glenn S. LaRace, Jr., 25, of Ludlow, died on March 25, 2013. Born in Holyoke on January 14, 1988, he was a lifelong Ludlow resident and 2006 graduate of Ludlow High School. He worked at many area pizzerias' and recently graduated from Branford Hall as a massage therapist. Glenn had a passion for the arts, especially clay sculpting, writing, and music. He loved playing his guitar and harmonica solo, with his brother Christopher and friends, and in his band "Orange Cat Blue Bandana", and also listening to his favorite band Pavement. He also enjoyed writing, taking walks, anything to do with dinosaurs, traveling to Nova Scotia, and spending time with his family and friends; especially at Sunday dinners. Glenn was the beloved son of Glenn LaRace, Sr. and wife Angela, and Margaret "Peggy" LaRace, all of Ludlow; the cherished grandson of Annette LaRace and the late Schley LaRace, Sr., of Springfield, and the late Freddy and Maggie Arena; the loving brother to Christopher LaRace and wife Rebecca, of Enfield, and Shauna Colby and Kimberly Moore, both of Chicopee, the cherished uncle to Array, Izabel, Vitto, Skylar, and Willow; and also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and devoted friends; as well as his animals Larry, Sammy, and Mike. Funeral services for Glenn will be held privately by the family with Ludlow Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center entrusted with his care. A Memorial Service to be held will be announced at a later date.
