Gloria Ann LaRiviere Carolan, born January 8, 1927 to Jesse and Fred LaRiviere in Springfield, Massachusetts, died peacefully on October 1, 2018. She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, William Carolan. She was mother to 10 children: Douglas, Cynthia, Theresa, Valerie, Cathleen, William, Jeffrey, Michael, John, and David; Grandmother to 15 and Great Grandmother to 10. A devout Catholic, her faith being her pillar in life. Gloria’s greatest joys in life were her family, bridge, bingo, and a passion for cooking. Known for her generous, kind and loving nature, she instilled in her children the virtues of kindness, patience, generosity, love, forgiveness, and leaving the past behind. For this they will be forever grateful.
