Obituary for Gloria D. Godin
Gloria D. Godin, 87, longtime resident of West Springfield and Ludlow, passed away peacefully in July 27, 2016. Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Edward and Jessie (Boyle) Godin, she was a graduate of Ludlow High School and was a professional career woman working for many years as a office manager for a medical practice. Gloria was the beloved sister of the late Edward, Walter, Russell, and Arthur; a cherished aunt and great-aunt to Edward Godin and wife Susan, Arthur Godin, Lisa Godin, and Meg Godin; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Gloria will be on Saturday, July 30th at 10:00am in Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Friday from 5:00-7:00pm and preceding the service on Saturday from 9:00-9:45am, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
