Obituary for Gloria T. (Geissler) Cyranowski
It is with love and gratitude for a life well lived, that we share the passing of Gloria Teresa Cyranowski (Geisler), 94 from Ludlow, MA, Gloria departed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on September 21, 2025.
Gloria proudly called herself an individual unlike any other. She lived boldly and un-apologetically, full of vibrant spirit and joy. She shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with her “hunk a man” Thaddeus Cyranowski, who passed away in 2003. Now the two are reunited, walking hand in hand in heaven with their loving savior Jesus Christ.
Gloria leaves her daughter Teresa Greene, with husband Roger Greene of Becket, MA, daughter Carol Dalessio with Husband Phillip Dalessio of Three Rivers, MA, son Michael Cyranowski and wife Kathy of Port Charlotte, FL, and daughter Sylvia Czech with husband Jeffrey Czech of Belchertown, MA. Gloria was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 19 great grandchildren (all of which proclaimed to be her favorite). Gloria always shared a familiar greeting telling them she loved them “a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck”.
Gloria had a passion for music. She performed in the Church Choir at Christian Life Center in Springfield, MA. At the Senior Center in Ludlow, she was known as the “Dancer”, always the first to get up and dance. She lived at Keystone Commons in Ludlow since 2015 where she enjoyed the music programs, and especially Rusty.
Though we are saddened by her passing, we also celebrate the light she brought to this world and the stories that remain.
Visiting Hours will be held at Ludlow Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24th from 5:00-7:00pm. Committal services will take place on Thursday, September 25th at 3:00pm in the chapel at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam
To reflect Gloria’s colorful personality, the family has requested that attendees wear colorful attire to her services, and for those wishing to make donations in her memory, may do so to the Ludlow Senior Center or Alzheimer's Association.
